Jannarelly Design-1 is available in three designs, with a starting price of £ 86,000
Jannarelly’s new Design-1 Cars are inspired by the classic. The car was launched in the UK and would later expand globally. Design-1 debuted in the United Arab Emirates, where it was produced. Later debuted in Europe
Design-1 is limited in production, but the specific quantity has not been updated. Jannarelly says they are expected to sell as low as hundreds of millions, plus, Design-1 is a very small car.
Design-1 is offered in three designs named Roadster, Coupé and Aero. Of which Roadster is the most popular variant so far, however Coupé is forecast to be popular in the UK. Models start at £ 86,000.
For the UK, first deliveries will begin in February next year.
Jannarelly described the car as being modelled on “classic Le Mans racers”. It aims to provide a “classic motoring experience” but “with reliability and practicality afforded by using modern materials”.
The naturally aspirated 3.5-liter petrol engine for the Design-1 is sourced from Nissan. It delivers 296bhp to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Jannarelly claims a top speed of 135mph and says 0-60mph will be covered in less than 4.0sec.
Body wrap is mixed or carbon mixture. Jannarelly has claimed to be excellent dynamics, agility and poise. Bespoke features can be tailored to individual customers.
The sports car company was founded by automotive designer Anthony Jannarelly and racing boat builder Frederic Juillot in 2016. The company said there will be “more exciting announcements regarding the UK market in due course”.
