Nissan Pathfinder Ti 4WD 2017
So this is a big car, my first thought when I discovered the Nissan Pathfinder Ti in the garage, waiting for me to take it for the week. I never paid special attention to big cars for my family of four. Didnith saw the need in all that metal, taking up space on suburban roads.
How I was wrong. And how I immediately loved the space that Pathfinder gave us. Instead of being cramped and squashed, we spread out. Space, I realized, really with luxury. It is fortunate because this is the week I was assigned by my husband to buy trees for our backyard (we started working on the remodeling), so I needed a big car to transport the trees around. Here, what I think about Nissan Pathfinder Ti V6 (is the top version of the range and AWD petrol version).
How did it drive?
It is smooth, quiet and easy. The V6 engine has power and you can feel it, which makes me feel quite strong on the road. Combined with the height and size of the car and I felt quite formidable. This is a car I can drive kids around and feel safe and secure when doing that. Don destined to underestimate that feeling. For me, that is one of my favorite things.
It steamed up the hill near my house, where I checked all the cars without taking a breath, and didn’t slow down. Heavy? There was a bit, but I even liked the heaviness – it added the solid feeling of the stone.
The only time it was hard was when I tried to squeeze into a parallel park and turn the steering wheel every time it became a bit difficult. Similarly when I have to make a three-step step closely. You also feel the size if you are trying to squeeze into a small park because it is a big car. But it gives you seven seats, so there is that.
How safe is it?
It has all the fancy modern things you expect. Reverse parking cameras, parking sensors before and after, even emit a beep if I get too close to the car and of course there is an automatic emergency brake, which means it brakes if you go on the road and has lost training middle There are blind spot warning lights, front curtain airbags, side and side extends to the rear seats, plus a total of four tether points and two ISOFIX points. It is rated ANCAP 5 stars.
How easy to use everyday?
I find it very practical. The third row of seats is easily pulled up, no grappling, sweating or swearing when you move the middle row forward to enter the next row. And there are many cupholder galore, with two in the front, four in the second and fourth in the third row. Holy guacamole, that’s 10 cupholder! In addition, there are six bottle holders. Never argue between children again about who the cupholder is!
In addition, behind the second and third rows are vents and they are not weak vents. You can feel the air vigorously – important if you have a lump in the back. The car really has three climate controls so you can have three different temperatures if you want. Then there was a large sunroof that was deliberately set down to the rear half of the car and brought much of the favorite natural light to the third row.
I am obsessed with automatically opening shoes, because anyone else here is holding children, shopping for bags, toys, maybe a scooter and pulling a blanket then struggling to put everything down and open boots? Yes, that will be me. This week it’s really the trees I’m carrying, but with this car, as long as you pull out the key, you can hold the button down and hello, start up easily. Thank you, who invented the snazzy car features.
It has a two-level front center storage box, and a storage envelope on the back of the front seat. Overall, I would like to say that this is a very easy to use and practical car.
How wide is it?
It was a big step to get up and my mother really complained about it, but if you’re not okay with that, be ready to go into space. It’s very active, with tons of rooms in the front seats, plenty of legroom, lots of space between the passengers and the driver and everything is beautifully arranged.
In the second row, my two daughters (four and six) literally think it is a playground and they are revolving around all the space they have. Cue inside the back seat. And in the third row, I climbed in and sat quite long, quite comfortable. Stay 5 throw 4 I am not highly accurate, but just don go put a giant back there. It is wide enough space and the second row of seats moves forward so you can find enough space for all the rows.
And boot. Oh my boots! With the third row or less there is a whopping 1354 liters. With the second row or less (in case you need transportation, heaven, maybe a bed?), It increased to 2260 liters. Even with all the seats there is still enough space to put a suitcase in the back, or upload with groceries or school bags.
Well, it works. Is that a disappointment? Yes, I would say it is. Looking at it, there’s nothing technically wrong with the multimedia screen, I mean, it’s eight inches! It has a good enough navigation and I can sync my phone easily, but there is no Apple Carplay / Android Auto, or even a digital radio that you expect at This price.
However, there are two screens behind the front seats for passengers in the second row. Win. My girls thought it was amazing and even though the only DVD I could find was an old David Attenborough animal documentary, they loved it. Yes, there are other stores to play different kinds of things but I always tell them that we only have to watch animals in the car. No Disney movies.
It also comes with two Bluetooth headsets which also means I can play my music up front while they listen to the movie. Time alone. Do it as soon as you can.
How it looks?
The interior has a luxurious feel and as soon as you step in, you can tell you that in a top car. Leather seats have great feel, shiny center console is stylish and everything in sight has been well thought out. I thought the leather steering wheel felt a bit difficult, as well as the top dash, but all the rounds had a fair bit of swank going on. The seat remembers and moves into position and steering wheel, too, certainly helps.
