The Dubai police posted an image of a Tesla Cybertruck police car on Twitter, announcing that one of the electric pickups will join the fleet in 2020
The Dubai police are always equipped with the most flashy transportation. Now this force has announced on Twitter that the newly announced Tesla Cybertruck will be its latest addition.
The all-electric pickup will be used as a patrol vehicle in places popular with tourists. This was announced by Dubai police general Abdullah Khalifa Al ERIC.
Recently, Dubai police has added to the list of vehicles a range of luxury vehicles. Including vehicles such as Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, will join an Aston Martin One-77, Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Aventador, Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari FF. And the Cybertruck isn’t the only fast car the Dubai cops added this week.
Cybertruck has a number of features suitable to become vehicles used for Dubai police. The Cybertruck is claimed to have “bulletproof” windows. In addition, all Cybertrucks come equipped with an adjustable air suspension that can be raised or lowered on the go. And it provides a 16 inch roar of brightness. Maybe the Dubai Police will choose the three engine version. Tesla claims to essentially move from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds and provide as much as 500 miles of range.
Tesla hasn’t promised a start to the truck’s production until late 2021, although Dubai Police tweeted that the force will be getting the Cybertruck in 2020. However, Tesla has been accepting $100 deposits to reserve a Cybertruck.
Pricing for the single-motor truck starts at $39,900, the dual-motor costs $49,900, and the range-topping tri-motor starts at $69,900.
